In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, local electrical codes, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to renovations, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality electrical solutions that keep operations running smoothly and safely. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and residential electrical systems including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues efficiently. Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance. Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects while following strict safety procedures. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for wiring, conduit bending, panel installation, and other electrical tasks. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, system modifications, and safety checks. Collaborate with contractors, and team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality. Requirements Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification with proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and clamp meters. Ability to perform installation and maintenance tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Excellent attention to detail while adhering to strict safety protocols during all phases of work.
