An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment and batch processes. Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools. Interpret schematics and equipment manuals. Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities. Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time. Utilize online service maintenance application to accurately and thoroughly document and track all corrective and preventative maintenance performed throughout the course of the day, including searching, and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues, and entering inspection/measurement points. Maintenance and work around production activities to achieve both production and maintenance KPI's.QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED At least 6 years ' experience in electrical (480V and Control 120/24V DC). Familiar with conveyer systems, background in ladder logic Allen Bradley PLC very helpful.
