ELECTRICIAN Volney Multiplex Inc. is looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated Electrician to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, works safely, and provides excellent service to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who wants to work with an established company on a variety of commercial, residential, and specialty electrical projects.
POSITION
ELECTRICIAN Key Responsibilities :
  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Install conduit, wiring, panels, disconnects, devices, lighting, and electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify problems efficiently.
  • Perform work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and company standards.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, lifts, and other job-related equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Complete assigned work accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Properly document work performed, materials used, and any issues requiring follow-up.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other electrical and company projects as needed. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will be:

  • Comfortable working in different environments and job sites. Qualifications
  • Previous electrical experience required.
  • Electrical trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and plans.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and work from ladders or lifts when required.
  • Ability to pass any required company screening or licensing requirements. Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus
  • Commercial electrical work
  • Industrial electrical work
  • Fire alarm systems
  • CCTV/security systems
  • Access control systems
  • Low-voltage systems
  • Generators
  • Motor controls
  • Troubleshooting
