Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Junior Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in electrical work, gain hands-on experience with commercial and industrial electrical systems, and adhere to strict safety protocols. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, proactive in problem-solving, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties Assist with electrical wiring, conduit bending, and electrical systems installation under supervision Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues Support the setup and maintenance of low voltage electrical systems in commercial environments Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all electrical safety procedures and protocols Collaborate with senior electricians on construction site tasks involving electrical blueprint reading and schematic interpretation Qualifications Prior experience or training in industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, conduit benders, and basic wiring techniques Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and electrical safety procedures Experience working on construction sites or in industrial environments is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a focus on safety at all times Join us as an Electrical Junior Mechanic and be part of a team dedicated to building safe, reliable electrical systems that power our communities.
