JSP Home Services is seeking a residential Electrician to install, repair, and maintain home electrical systems for local homeowners. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, panels, outlets, lighting, and household equipment Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose root causes, and perform safe, code-compliant repairs Conduct safety inspections and verify work meets NEC, local codes, and JSP Home Services quality standards Communicate clearly with homeowners, explaining issues, options, and recommendations in plain language Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets or digital systems Collaborate with plumbing and HVAC teams on cross-trade home service projects as needed Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in safe, organized condition Participate in ongoing training to stay current on electrical codes, technologies, and best practices Required Skills Residential electrical installation Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics Reading electrical schematics and blueprints Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes Panel and service upgrades Outlet, switch, and lighting installation Use of electrical test instruments (multimeters, testers) Safety procedures and lockout/tagout Customer communication and service documentation Basic HVAC or plumbing systems familiarity
