Commercial Electrician -

Niagara Falls, NY Pay:

$75.00-$80.00 per hour SPR Construction Corporation is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians for an active federal construction project located in Niagara Falls, NY. This is a full-time, project-based position supporting the renovation of an existing federal facility. Work includes electrical demolition, new installations, power distribution, lighting, equipment connections, grounding, conduit/raceway installation, and modifications to existing electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

Install conduit, raceways, wiring, feeders, and branch circuits. Install and connect electrical panels, equipment, devices, receptacles, and lighting. Perform electrical demolition and modifications to existing systems. Install grounding and bonding systems. Make electrical connections to mechanical and building equipment. Read and work from electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and one-line diagrams. Coordinate electrical installations with other construction trades. Maintain and protect existing systems that must remain operational during construction. Perform work in accordance with NEC requirements, project specifications, and applicable federal safety requirements. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications:

Previous commercial or industrial electrical construction experience required. Strong experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, terminations, electrical equipment, and branch power systems. Ability to read and understand electrical construction drawings and plans. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Must follow project safety and quality-control requirements. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to meet federal installation access requirements. Federal or military construction experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation:

$75.00-$80.00 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. This project is subject to applicable federal prevailing wage requirements.

Schedule:

Primarily Monday through Friday during normal daytime construction hours. Additional hours may be available depending on project requirements.
