Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading to identify issues accurately. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems by interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical blueprints reading to determine root causes efficiently. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes for safety and regulatory adherence. Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high-voltage systems, and industrial electrical components in renovation or new construction projects. Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely while following electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents or hazards. Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to execute precise wiring layouts for commercial or industrial projects. Drive safely across NYC area job sites, managing timely arrival at multiple project locations while maintaining a valid active driver's license. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to work on high-voltage electrical wiring projects safely and efficiently. Extensive knowledge of local electrical codes (including NEC) and NFPA 70 compliance standards. Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and blueprints reading for precise installations. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics interpretation. Construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable. Valid active electrician license with NYC driving experience required; clean driving record preferred.
