In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely installing, maintaining, and removing holiday lighting displays. Your mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and attention to detail will ensure each project is completed efficiently and beautifully. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to joyful holiday experiences while honing your skills in electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, and technical troubleshooting. Responsibilities Safely install holiday lighting displays on residential and commercial properties using ladders, scaffolding, and other heavy equipment. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans to ensure accurate setup. Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot lighting issues, ensuring all displays operate safely and correctly. Use tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and verify proper connections. Perform routine maintenance, repair, and adjustments on lighting systems and supporting equipment. Remove holiday lights after the season, ensuring proper storage and transportation of materials. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all phases of installation and removal. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with experience working with heavy equipment or scaffolding. Strong electrical diagnostics skills, including interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) of electrical or mechanical systems. Ability to use testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and schematics for installation purposes. Technical proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues on complex lighting systems.
