Job Description
Schedule :
The typical schedule for this full-time role is Monday - Friday, 7:30am (with occasional on-call requests scheduled within a team rotation) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install, program, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).Perform startup, commissioning, testing, and verification of newly installed controls and low voltage equipment.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control systems, door hardware, card readers, electric strikes, and magnetic locks.
Install and service security camera systems, NVRs, DVRs, and related surveillance equipment.
Run, terminate, label, and test CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, and control wiring.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and project drawings.
Diagnose and repair system failures, communication issues, hardware malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
Provide preventative maintenance and routine inspections of installed systems.
Maintain accurate service documentation and customer records.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredFormally trained in electrical/low voltage applications3+ years of experience in HVAC controls, BAS, access control, CCTV, or related low voltage systems preferred.
Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, IP networking, and building automation protocols a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
