An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description

Position Title:
Master Mechanic/Electrician 1
Pay Rate:
$36.79/hr. plus differential
Category/Shift:
Hourly Full-Time- Third shift position-7pm-7am (12-hour shift rotation with a requirement to work every other weekend).
Physical Location:
Eaton Container 900 State Route 35 West Eaton, OH 43050
The Job You Will Perform:
Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives. Make necessary repairs to drives and their control system use. Maximum the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed. Follow-up all work orders to ensure repairs and work are preformed properly anc. entered into the maintenance software program. Plan and schedule maintenance work. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
The Skills You Will Bring:
Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is required. Experience in a corrugated facility is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives, mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety and PC literacy. Must successfully complete a maintenance test, drug screening, and background /employment verification.
