Position Overview We are seeking an Electrician to join our Maintenance team at our Euclid, Ohio facility. This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and production equipment throughout the facility. The Industrial Electrician will support preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, and automation initiatives while working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial electrician who enjoys solving complex electrical challenges and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment throughout the facility Diagnose electrical, PLC, and control system issues to minimize equipment downtime Install and commission new equipment while supporting machinery upgrades and plant improvement projects Perform preventative maintenance and electrical inspections to improve equipment reliability Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and schematics Modify electrical circuitry and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and operational performance Maintain inventory of electrical components and assist with ordering replacement parts and materials Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies, electrical codes, and industry standards What Success Looks Like High equipment reliability and reduced production downtime Safe and efficient completion of electrical maintenance and repair activities Successful installation and startup of new production equipment Strong preventative maintenance compliance and documentation Effective collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams Continuous improvement in equipment performance, safety, and reliability Ideal Candidate Profile High school diploma or GED required; technical training or electrical apprenticeship preferred 5-7 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems required Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams Knowledge of industrial electrical codes, safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience working in manufacturing, heavy industrial, or automated production environments preferred Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative maintenance team Why Join Elmet Technologies Opportunity to support advanced manufacturing equipment serving aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and energy industries Hands-on role with modern electrical systems, automation, and production equipment Collaborative culture focused on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holidays, and career development opportunities Search Process Note The Elmet Group is managing this search directly and is not accepting submissions from outside recruitment firms.
