As a Cook , you'll prepare fresh, reliable, patient-centered meals while helping ensure nutritional, dietary, and cultural needs are met. You'll bring consistency, adaptability, and compassion to a team dedicated to providing exceptional behavioral health care. How You Will Make a Difference Prepare hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes and patient diet orders. Follow food safety procedures, maintain temperature logs, and ensure proper allergen controls. Work closely with Dietary Aides to ensure accurate tray assembly and timely meal delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Assist with inventory, food storage, and ordering as needed. Flex between units and shifts to help meet staffing and operational needs. Quickly learn new routines, menus, and procedures while maintaining quality and consistency. Build positive rapport with patients and team members while supporting a respectful, recovery-focused environment. What We're Looking For 2+ years of cooking experience; healthcare or institutional food-service experience preferred. ServSafe or equivalent food-safety certification preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, flexible, and willing to support different shifts and team needs. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
