Energy Control, an employee-owned company, sells and services Cleaver-Brooks Industrial Boiler Equipment in Northern Ohio. We are looking for an electrician for our Northwestern Ohio location. Candidates must have electrical experience and have the ability to work independently or with other technicians. Energy Control supplies all specialized tools, training safety equipment and service van. Pre- employment drug screening, background and driving record check are required. Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team, dedicated to maintaining and installing electrical systems across diverse projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical safety, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and executing precise wiring and installation tasks as it relates to the HVAC and Boiler Industry. Your expertise will contribute to the safe operation of industrial and commercial electrical systems, supporting renovation, construction, and maintenance activities. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain industrial and commercial electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 standards. Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify faults efficiently. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to execute precise installations and repairs. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to NFPA 70 compliance requirements. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, including low voltage controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and high-voltage circuits. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical wiring, conduit bending, framing carpentry related to electrical enclosures, and other construction site tasks. Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while ensuring minimal disruption. Read technical schematics accurately for troubleshooting or new installations in industrial or commercial settings. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects within safety guidelines. Experience Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems. Hands-on experience with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical wiring in construction or renovation environments. Familiarity with NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safe electrical work practices. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and schematics reading skills. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and circuit diagrams. Skilled in using hand tools like wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers; power tools including drills and saws; as well as specialized equipment for high-voltage wiring tasks.

Pay:

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
