MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a commercial or industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Maintenance Electrician will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand system layouts. Install, maintain, and repair high voltage and low voltage electrical systems. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work performed. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure optimal operation of all equipment. Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed.

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is required. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards is essential. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately. Experience with power tools and general maintenance practices is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.

All positions at Stewart Glass are day shifts for pre-production. Schedule subject to change, see below, with production hour commencing.

Pre-production Schedule:
All Days:

8am-5pm;

M-F Production Schedule:

Night Shift 6:00 PM

•6:00 AM (shift differential for nights) Day Shift 6:00 AM

•6:00

PM All Shifts:

4 days on, 4 days off Each employee gets roughly 104 OT hours paid at 1.5x base rate per year with 4 on 4 off schedule.
