Electrician/Foreman

Job Summary:

Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, wiring, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Install electrical wiring, circuits, and systems per blueprints and codes. Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools. Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, and equipment. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations. Test electrical systems for continuity, safety, and functionality. Collaborate with contractors and other trades on construction projects. Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate work records.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred. Valid electrician license or certification (varies by region). 2+ years of experience (for journeyman level). Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety standards. Proficiency with hand and power tools, multimeters, and testing devices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Work Environment:

Indoor/outdoor settings, including construction sites, homes, or factories. May involve heights, ladders, or exposure to weather conditions. Requires adherence to safety protocols (PPE, lockout/tagout).

Salary Range:

$45,000-$80,000 annually (varies by experience, location, and union status).

Hours:

Full-time, with potential overtime or on-call shifts.
