Full Benefits, 401k with 3.5% Company Match! Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential settings, demonstrating proficiency in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Electrician will work on various projects, ensuring all electrical work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper functionality. Work with high voltage systems safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols. Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency or comply with updated codes. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards throughout all work performed. Assist in training apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician in residential environments. Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices related to electrical work. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings related to electrical installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues. A valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory for applicants with substantial experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Complete all general electrical in-home, service calls, providing quality electrical solutions to customers
  • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
  • Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
  • Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.
  • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
  • Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises.
  • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
  • Be accurate and timely with invoices.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed with knowledge of local electrical codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
  • Develop proven track record in electrical techniques including electrical hardware, junction boxes and circuit breaker units, trace lines and reading wiring diagrams.
  • Continued education and training.
  • Clean, safe driving record.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
