Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a 1st shift Industrial Electrician for an industry leading manufacturer in NW Ohio.
Maintenance Electrician Location:
Toledo, Ohio We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation in Toledo, Ohio. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operations. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience, including PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, automated equipment, and high-speed production machinery . Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems supporting production machinery, conveyors, motors, and control panels. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on automated manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and related electrical systems . Install and maintain wiring, conduit, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Use meters and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical systems and verify safe and proper operation. Respond to equipment breakdowns and support continuous production operations. Work closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs. Follow all plant safety procedures and applicable OSHA, NEC, and
NFPA 70E
requirements. Assist with mechanical troubleshooting, fabrication, and welding as needed. Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification or completion of an electrician apprenticeship preferred. 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance experience. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, motors, control panels, and automated equipment . Experience troubleshooting and repairing high-speed production machinery . Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints. Familiarity with CMMS systems for maintenance scheduling and documentation is preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Welding, fabrication, and mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team. Must be able to pass required pre-employment screening.
