An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description

OK Electric, Inc. has an opening for an electrician with 3-5 years experience in residential and commercial applications. OK Electric is a family-owned business established in 1950. Applicants must have the following qualifications: Experience with both 120/240V single phase and 120/208V 3-phase circuits. Able to work in a safe and efficient manner, knowledgeable of NEC and OSHA guidelines. Must be dependable, self-motivated and able to lead and complete projects with minimal supervision. Maintain a high quality of workmanship throughout all projects. Must be able to work in a variety of environments, problem solve, and use tools and equipment appropriate for each job. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Maintain a healthy working relationship with co-workers and customers. Must pass a drug test. Overtime is available but not mandatory.
Required education:
Minimum of high school or equivalent. Post high school or trade school is a plus.
Wages and Benefits:
Up to $40/hr depending upon experience. 6 Paid holidays. Vacation pay after 1 year of service. Employee health benefits available (100% premium covered.) Life Insurance available. IRA with 3% match.
