Compensation for this role is depending on experience and certifications, $15 to $35 an hour plus 3 to 5% commission. We are looking for an experienced Licensed Electrician to handle commercial and residential electrical projects across the Edmond and OKC Metro area. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in both residential and commercial buildings. Respond quickly to dispatched service calls to troubleshoot and fix electrical issues for our customers. Upgrade electrical panels, install new circuits, and connect HVAC or plumbing equipment to power sources. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring based on job specifications and local codes. Ensure all installations and repairs strictly follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) and current Oklahoma state building codes so work passes inspection the first time. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Talk honestly and clearly with customers about their system evaluations, repair options, and project pricing. Complete wiring work on new construction projects and property remodels. Required Qualifications Active Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License. 2+ years of verified technical and trade experience in the electrical field. Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and current Oklahoma electrical regulations. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex electrical problems safely. Excellent interpersonal skills to give our customers highly professional and friendly service. Ability to work well on your own and as part of a larger service team. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Safely lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment, spools of wire, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Keep the physical stamina needed to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and bend for long periods throughout your shift. Work comfortably in cramped and confined spaces, including attics, basements, and crawlspaces. Safely climb and work from ladders, scaffolding, and roofs at varying heights. Work safely in many different environments, which includes dealing with hot and cold indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Safely drive company vehicles to get to multiple job sites across our service area.
Pay:
$15.00 - $35.00 per hour
