Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Unlimited Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across commercial, residential and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 standards (National Electrical Code), and safety procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovations, utilizing your extensive electrical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable electrical solutions. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential dustrial environments, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and local codes. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute wiring layouts for complex systems. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and work with low voltage systems in accordance with NFPA 70 standards. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment; implement effective troubleshooting strategies. Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, and automation components to support operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of electrical wiring, systems, and equipment; identify potential hazards or failures before they occur. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction site experience to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and quality. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately; translate technical drawings into precise wiring installations or repairs. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects within scope. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and repairs completed for compliance purposes. Qualifications Valid license as a Unlimited Journeyman Electrician with proven experience in residential, commerical and idustrial electrical work. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes. Demonstrated experience working with industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and low voltage applications. Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to quickly identify issues within complex systems. Proficiency reading electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable. Construction site experience including renovation projects; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential. Ability to work safely following electrical safety procedures; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, power tools including high-voltage wiring techniques; frame carpentry or handyman experience is a plus.
