Job Description
Description Responsibilities Level 1: Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule. Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements. Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production. Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service. Maintain good housekeeping in all areas. Handle company equipment with care. Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed. Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends. Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager. Qualifications Level 1: Minimum of 1 years' experience Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly. Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides. Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates. Must be able to pay attention to detail.
