Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician to work throughout the Oklahoma City metro area. We are looking for a dependable electrician with strong commercial and industrial electrical experience who can work independently and lead jobsite crews when needed.Job ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systemsRead and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specificationsInstall conduit, wire, cable, panels, disconnects, breakers, and electrical equipmentPerform rough-in and finish electrical workWire lighting systems, receptacles, switches, motors, and equipmentTroubleshoot electrical issues using meters and other testing equipmentPerform electrical terminations and connectionsEnsure installations comply with the NEC, local codes, and project specificationsLead and direct apprentice electricians and helpersInspect completed work and correct deficienciesMaintain a safe work environment and follow OSHA and company safety proceduresSafely operate lifts, power tools, and electrical testing equipmentRequirementsCurrent Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman License requiredMinimum 5 years of electrical experienceMust have your own toolsReliable personal transportation requiredDependable attendance and punctualityWillingness to continue developing electrical skills and knowledgeAbility to work safely and effectively lead jobsite crewsAdditional InformationTypical starting pay of $30.00/hourMonday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PMExperienced Journeyman Electrician positionCommercial and industrial electrical workMust be able to work independently and lead apprentices/helpersLong-term opportunity for the right candidateImportant Notice - Safety Sensitive PositionThis position is classified as Safety Sensitive in accordance with Oklahoma law (O.S. § 63-427.8).
