An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

What You'll Do Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to plan and execute work Install conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, and other electrical components to code Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely, effective repairs Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes Supervise and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and oversight on job sites Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job progress Lead job tasks independently or as part of a crew Follow and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Travel to job sites as needed within the service area What We're Looking For Journeyman Electrician License (Required) 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience preferred Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical systems Ability to read blueprints and work independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening Why Join Bill's Electric?
