Now Hiring:
Oregon Journeyman Electrician — Commercial Solar Project Power Northwest is hiring one licensed Oregon Journeyman Electrician for a commercial solar project lasting approximately 3-6 months .
Pay:
$82.51 per hour — prevailing wage This is a project-based, full-time opportunity for an experienced electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, prioritizes safety, and has a proven background in commercial solar installation.
Requirements:
Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician license Prior commercial solar installation experience Ability to read plans, schematics, and electrical layouts Strong knowledge of the NEC and applicable local codes Experience troubleshooting field issues and completing system verification Familiarity with commercial electrical, building, and roofing systems Ability to lead by example and work effectively with installers and other trades Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it promptly At Power Northwest, our mission is to help transition our community to renewable energy.
