Job Summary BlueSun has an excellent opportunity to for a Licensed Electrician in
Hillsboro, OR Key Responsibilities:
Have a strong work ethic and communication skills. Respond to electrical needs in campus buildings. Assist with retrofit and replacing fluorescent lighting fixtures to LED fixtures. Install and maintain lighting and other electrical controls. Troubleshoot and respond to work orders for electrical related requests. Perform new installation of circuits, disconnects, breakers, wiring pulling, raceways, conduits, etc. Will assist other electricians and contracting partners on work orders. Work order program experience for tracking work completed, time allotted to each task, and closing out work tickets after providing narrative on fixing the problem assigned by a building liaison. Coordinate supply needs for jobs assigned and coordinate purchases by administrative staff or supervisor through contracts. A strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task and adapt to reactive and emergency situations. An open and collaborative working style, characteristic of a team player who can support a One Washington County approach to every project. Maintains cooperative and positive relations with coworkers and vendors.
Qualifications:
Experience as a journey-level electrician related to building maintenance; Education and apprenticeship training in electrical design, installation, and repair, particularly related to building maintenance.
ADDITIONAL LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND SPECIALTY REQUIREMENTS
Possession of a valid Oregon State General Journeyman Electrician's License. Must be able to distinguish color-coded cables. Must possess a driver's license valid in the State of Oregon and have an acceptable driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. BlueSun, Inc. is an
