Core Electric LLC is looking for a skilled, dependable, and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We're a veteran-owned, family-operated electrical contractor based in the Willamette Valley, serving residential and small commercial customers throughout the region. Our work includes everything from new construction and remodels to service upgrades, troubleshooting, and repairs. What You'll Do As a Journeyman Electrician with Core Electric, you'll handle a variety of residential and small commercial electrical work. Your day-to-day work may include installations, repairs, service calls, troubleshooting, upgrades, and working from plans and electrical drawings. You'll be expected to work safely and efficiently, follow applicable electrical codes and company standards, and leave your work area clean and organized. You'll also interact directly with customers, contractors, and other members of the team, so clear communication and professional customer service are an important part of the job. We want our electricians to be comfortable explaining what they're doing, sharing project needs and updates, and treating every customer and job with respect. What We're Looking For Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician License required Experience in residential and commercial electrical work Working knowledge of current National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and Oregon Electrical Specialty Code Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Successful completion of a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong commitment to workplace safety, professionalism, and doing work you can stand behind Professional and respectful approach when interacting with customers, contractors, and team members Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions and job site environments What We Offer We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications, along with a company vehicle, power tools, and company phone to help you do your job effectively.
