Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician/Helper to join our dynamic electrical team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects across industrial and commercial settings. The Electrician/Helper will assist in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes. This position is vital for supporting the successful execution of construction, renovation, and maintenance projects, contributing to safe and efficient electrical operations. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians in installing, wiring, and maintaining industrial and commercial electrical systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate installation and troubleshooting. Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or issues within electrical systems. Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely, adhering strictly to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently on construction sites or renovation projects. Troubleshoot electrical systems by diagnosing problems accurately and implementing effective solutions promptly. Follow all electrical safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Contribute to the completion of construction or renovation projects by performing framing carpentry or handyman tasks when required. Experience Proven experience working as an electrician in residential or light commercial environments with a understanding of industrial electrical systems. Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes is essential. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Prior experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics related to high-voltage and low-voltage wiring projects. Ability to work effectively on renovation projects requiring flexibility in various handyman or framing carpentry tasks.
