Allied Mechanical and Electrical is looking for a Team Leader Residential Electrician for our Residential New construction division in the Altoona, PA area with occasional work in the State College, PA area. Must have a valid driver's license and your own basic hand tools. Communication, teamwork and safety is a high priority as you will be working in a team with other electricians and trades. Primarily the hours will be Monday through Thursday 7 AM to 5:30 PM. During very busy periods there may be overtime. Must be able to pass DMV background and have a valid driver's license due to company vehicles that you will need to operate. Lead Electricians are issued a company vehicle for work purposes only. Responsibilities Install electrical wiring, panels, receptacles, lighting etc in residential construction new homes. Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to ensure proper electrical functionality. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute electrical layouts. Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical installations during construction. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently. Maintain and hold a valid driver's license for travel to various job sites. Must have valid driver's license for the last three years to be able to drive a company vehicle when needed. We offer benefits to all full-time employees.
