You'll diagnose electrical issues, perform repairs safely and efficiently, and ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and company quality standards. Key Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems and components. Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective repair solutions. Install and replace electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, EV chargers, whole-home surge protection, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and other residential electrical equipment. Perform electrical service upgrades, panel replacements, and branch circuit installations. Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards. Communicate professionally with homeowners, explain findings, and provide repair and replacement recommendations. Accurately document work performed and complete required service paperwork using company software. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while protecting customers' homes. Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience on every job. Qualifications Previous residential electrical service experience required. Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, troubleshooting, and repairs. Experience with panel upgrades, service changes, generators, lighting, and residential electrical installations. Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Journeyman license or equivalent experience preferred.
