Core Responsibilities Execute the installation of switchgear, panels, lighting, and various conduit types including IMC, rigid, and EMT to ensure all industrial and commercial projects pass inspections on the initial attempt. Perform precise pulling, bending, and termination of branch circuits and feeders to maintain blueprint accuracy and prevent workflow bottlenecks for other trades. Help minimize production downtime by accurately connecting MCCs, VFDs, motors, and PLC-driven systems while verifying signal integrity and phase rotation. Utilize diagnostic testing equipment to identify and resolve circuit or control issues, aiming to restore full functionality within a single shift. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to LOTO, OSHA, and site-specific safety protocols. Collaborate with other craft professionals on equipment placement and conduit routing to ensure the project timeline remains uninterrupted. Work Environment and Logistics These long-term, first-shift positions are located throughout Lancaster County and the surrounding Pennsylvania region. You will be under the direction of the site maintenance lead or superintendent. While you are expected to provide your own standard hand tools and necessary PPE, all required lift equipment, testers, benders, and installation materials are provided on-site. Required Qualifications Minimum of five years in commercial electrical construction or over six years of experience within industrial and manufacturing environments, specifically involving conduit installation and EMT bending. Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting schematics, one-lines, and complex blueprints to guide your daily work layout. Possession of a valid driver's license, dependable personal transportation, and legal authorization to work within the United States. Physical ability to perform tasks in standard plant or construction settings, including the capacity to lift 75 lbs. Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening is mandatory for all applicants.
