Job Description
Quad is seeking a Night Shift Industrial Electrician to support our technology-driven production operations. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, controls and automation equipment that power advanced print, logistics and digital production lines. You will perform preventive maintenance, read and interpret schematics, diagnose PLC and VFD issues, and ensure all work meets NEC and safety standards. Collaborating with maintenance and IT teams, you'll help drive reliability, uptime and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, innovative environment with strong opportunities for learning and growth. Responsibilities Install, maintain and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, control and automation issues Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints Configure and support PLCs, VFDs, motors and control panels Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA and company safety standards Document maintenance activities and update CMMS records Collaborate with maintenance, production and IT teams to reduce downtime Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives on night shift Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely repairs Required Skills Industrial electrical troubleshooting PLC programming and diagnostics Variable frequency drives (VFDs) Electrical schematics and blueprints Motor controls and power distribution Industrial automation systems Preventive and predictive maintenance Lockout/Tagout and electrical safety CMMS maintenance software Testing and measurement equipment usage
