We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about patient service and healthcare administration. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk with professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule appointments accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems and coordinate follow-up visits. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes efficiently. Collect patient information, update medical records, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy. Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and answering inquiries promptly. Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support clinic operations by managing appointment scheduling, filing documents, and performing clerical duties such as data entry and typing. Experience Previous clinic or medical office experience is required, preferably in ophthalmology or optometry settings. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care and general healthcare practices. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and health information management.
