An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Lead Industrial Electrical Construction jobs, Primarily in the Oil & Gas Industry Typical job size is between $200K to $1M+ Typical crew size between 2 to 6 people Oversee project lifecycle: estimating support, planning, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and scope clarity Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and documentation Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company standards This is a field position, presence is required during construction operations Maintain strong client relationships Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings Install and connect wiring, conduits, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards Investigate and problem solve to determine most efficient way to install changes to existing electrical service Lead, mentor, and direct less experienced electricians
Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma required 5+ years of Industrial Electrical Construction experience 2+ years experience as Project/Crew Lead for Electrical Construction project in the Oil and Gas Industry Master Electrician License preferred PMP certification preferred Electrical Construction Estimating experience preferred Strong experience in oil & gas facilities (upstream, midstream, or downstream preferred) Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, motor controls, and hazardous area classifications Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and field personnel Strong knowledge of NEC (or applicable electrical code) Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to travel to job sites as required Experience with Class I Div 1 & 2 installations
