Commercial Service Electrician / Service Technician ASCOM is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Electrician / Service Technician to join our team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot electrical problems, and is comfortable working independently in commercial and industrial environments. This position is a great fit for an electrician who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with customers rather than being assigned to the same construction project every day. What You'll Do As a Service Electrician with ASCOM, you'll handle a variety of service calls, repairs, troubleshooting, and smaller electrical projects.

Responsibilities include:

Troubleshoot and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems Diagnose electrical problems and develop practical solutions Install and repair panels, breakers, receptacles, switches, disconnects, lighting, and electrical equipment Install new branch circuits and equipment feeds Perform LED lighting upgrades and lighting repairs Work with 120/208V and 277/480V systems Troubleshoot electrical equipment and controls Read electrical drawings, one-lines, and equipment specifications Communicate directly and professionally with customers Clearly document work performed and materials used Maintain an organized company service vehicle Coordinate with the office regarding scheduling, materials, and follow-up work Perform work in accordance with the NEC and company safety standards What We're Looking For A successful service electrician needs to be able to do more than install electrical work. We're looking for someone who can walk into a service call, assess the situation, troubleshoot the problem, determine a solution, and get the customer taken care of.

Ideal candidates will have:

3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience in commercial and/or industrial facilities Ability to work independently with limited supervision Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code Ability to safely work on common commercial electrical systems Ability to use ladders, lifts, and work at elevated heights Good communication and customer-service skills Professional and dependable work habits Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Pay & Compensation Starting pay: $27-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Highly qualified candidates with strong commercial service and troubleshooting experience may be considered for additional compensation.
