An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Job Description

Overview:
Operates and maintains all piping systems, electrical/electronic devices, climate control and preventative maintenance at the Bucks County Administration Building and Justice Center.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Operates and repairs hot water boilers Operates and repairs refrigeration and chiller equipment Operates and repairs emergency generators Operates and repairs air handlers and climate control equipment Operates and repairs electrical, water and sanitary distribution system Operates and repairs auxiliary equipment Monitors, records and regulates equipment parameters as necessary as provided by data from various recording and indicting instruments Any other duties as assigned relating to the position 24 hour/day, 7 day/week position Must be able to work under a supervising Engineer for training and project completion Possess ability to carry out assigned projects Must be able to work unsupervised Ability to read and understand blueprints and valve charts
Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school certification in plumbing, electric and mechanical trades and two years trade experience in electrical, plumbing, boilers, and chillers maintaining and operating commercial building systems Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Web browser applications

  • 11:00pm
  • Shift Differentials received for 2nd/3rd shift and Weekends
