In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to safe and efficient operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and expand your professional experience. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts Perform high-voltage and low-voltage wiring tasks on commercial and industrial electrical systems Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical issues Conduct electrical diagnostics to determine root causes of system failures or inefficiencies Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 compliance standards and electrical safety procedures Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including frame carpentry when necessary Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections completed, and repairs made for compliance and record-keeping purposes Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable Knowledge of high-voltage electrical wiring and installation procedures Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting Construction site experience is preferred, especially in renovation or new construction environments Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Additional handyman skills or experience with schematics can be advantageous Join us if you're eager to leverage your electrical expertise in a vibrant environment that values safety, innovation, and professional growth!
