Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Hanover, PA facility. This role is responsible for independently installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems and be able to perform tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

AM Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment including motor controls, DC/AC drives, frying and baking equipment, sheeters, extruders, temperature instrumentation, burner systems, packaging machines, electronic scales, and programmable logic controllers (PLC). Repair and maintain various facility equipment such as lift trucks, pumps, fans, air compressors, hydraulic equipment, and HVAC systems. Independently troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment. Prepare, coordinate, and implement preventive maintenance for machinery and facility equipment. Complete installation and repair work from schematics, drawings, and technical manuals. Perform minor electrical installations. Adhere to all safety rules and maintain a safe working environment. Report any unsafe equipment and practices to the supervisor. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety programs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
2+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or electronic applications, ideally in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to repair a wide variety of equipment independently. Valid unrestricted driver's license and the ability to operate a company vehicle for travel to other local facilities as needed. Required to wear non-slip shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay:
From $31.00 per hour
