Job Description Summary Leviat is seeking a 1st shift electrician with knowledge of production equipment and experience in a manufacturing and industrial environment. This role works closely with all levels of management and staff to prioritize and foster a safety culture. Essential Duties Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manual, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications to trouble shoot malfunctions. Locate source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation by listening for problems and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Install, adjust, repair and perform preventative maintenance on production and related equipment. Layout and installation of electrical circuits, conduit, circuit breakers, panels and transformers. Maintain machines in optimal processing conditions. Troubleshoot, locate root problems and perform repairs. Required Skills / Qualifications 5+ years of experience working in industrial maintenance setting Expertise of NEC requirements Strong mechanical and electrical skills Experience with control voltage from 24 to 120 volts Experience working with 120, 208/240 and 480 volts PLC experience Good analytical and problem-solving skills Network/SCADA maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to think and recommend process improvements Ability to use power hand tools, measuring tape and level Physical Environment Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Capability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours. This position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, stretching, and using hands and fingers to grasp, push, and lift items.
