Position Summary:

We are seeking an outstanding Traveling Electrician to support our all of our facilities with a home base near our Lebanon, PA or Amboy, NJ plants. This role requires approximately 60% travel to perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across our galvanizing operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Travel to various V&S facilities to perform electrical maintenance and repair on plant equipment at the following locations: Perth Amboy, NJ, Columbus, OH, New Castle, DE, Detroit, MI, Jonestown, PA, Johnstown, PA, Memphis, TN, Owego, NY, and Taunton, MA Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including motors, panels, control systems, and hydraulic components. Perform routine preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections on electrical and mechanical systems. Run conduits and wiring when needed. Support local maintenance teams at each site by providing technical expertise on electrical issues. Perform building and facility-related electrical repairs as needed. Maintain accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspection logs. Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly work environment while adhering to all safety standards and procedures. Assist with the installation, upgrade, or rebuild of machinery and electrical systems.

Qualifications, Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, lift, push, and pull as part of daily responsibilities. Comfortable working in hot and cold environments typical of industrial facilities. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of maintenance/electrical experience required. Previous electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to work autonomously with little to no direction. Ability to assist with heavy/major equipment repairs preferred. Must be able to travel approximately 60% of the time to various V&S plant locations.

$57,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
