Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on construction sites or during renovation projects, adhering strictly to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes. Diagnose electrical issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and electrical diagnostics tools. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards), NEC (National Electrical Code), and OSHA safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct routine inspections of industrial electrical systems, low voltage circuits, commercial electrical systems, and high-voltage wiring to prevent failures or hazards. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople such as carpenters or handymen during construction or renovation projects to coordinate electrical work seamlessly within larger building plans. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial settings with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical work. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues efficiently. Familiarity with NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, local electrical codes, and safety procedures essential for compliance and safety assurance. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving framing carpentry or general construction activities is highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers; power tools including drills; testing devices like voltmeters and ohmmeters; and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly through schematic reading and circuit analysis.
