Job Description

Industrial Electrician Summit Service Solutions , a skilled trades staffing agency with over 20 years of experience serving the construction and manufacturing industries, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a long-term opportunity with a manufacturing facility located in Lancaster County, PA. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity paying $30-$35 per hour depending on experience. This position focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading electrical systems and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments such as plastics, food & beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical, or similar production facilities is highly preferred. Core Responsibilities Industrial Power Distribution Install and modify industrial power distribution systems Install switchgear, transformers, disconnects, MCCs, and distribution panels Run feeders and branch circuits for new manufacturing equipment Verify voltage, phase rotation, and electrical load capacity Industrial Equipment Installation Connect and commission production machinery Relocate and reconnect existing manufacturing equipment Install motors, VFDs, control panels, and electrical enclosures Run and terminate power and control wiring Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues to minimize production downtime. Automation & Controls Install and integrate PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems Wire sensors, limit switches, photo eyes, and other field devices Verify system communication and signal integrity Test and validate proper equipment operation Safety & Compliance Perform electrical testing and system verification Follow NEC, OSHA, LOTO, and GMP requirements Maintain a safe work environment while minimizing production downtime Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment as needed
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of six (6) years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Licensing:
Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Must provide basic hand and electrical tools.
