Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including industrial and commercial environments. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and construction sites to industrial electrical systems, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities to deliver top-quality results. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring work safely according to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines. Diagnose complex electrical issues within industrial electrical systems using advanced troubleshooting techniques, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain compliance with all safety procedures related to electrical work, including lockout/tagout protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Work on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical wiring, low voltage systems, or high voltage installations while adhering to local electrical codes. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to plan wiring routes and system configurations for new installations or upgrades. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, or contractors to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks within project specifications. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams effectively. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes is essential. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Proficiency with hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools; voltmeters; ohmmeters; and other diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout practices and PPE compliance. Construction site experience or familiarity with renovation projects involving electrical work is preferred. Ability to interpret technical schematics and blueprints accurately for precise installation or repair work. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
