Electrical Materials Company, a leading supplier of essential electrical construction materials serving various infrastructure projects, is looking for an experienced Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This role is crucial in ensuring that all facility operations are optimized and that mechanical and electrical systems function efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting system failures, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance the longevity of equipment. Responsibilities Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical and electrical issues in the facility. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance. Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and downtime. Collaborate with the engineering team to improve system performance and efficiency. Required Skills Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Proficiency in using electrical and mechanical repair tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals. Skills in problem-solving and critical thinking. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
