Commercial Electrician -
Commercial & Utility-Scale Solar Projects Location:
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Pay:
$35-$60 per hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonus
Job Type:
Full-Time Overview The client is hiring Commercial Electricians to support commercial and utility-scale solar projects. This role offers stable, year-round work with direct employment from day one and access to a structured training program designed to support career progression from installer to foreman. Preferred:
Solar experience, OSHA 10/30, Journeyman license Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test electrical systems for commercial solar projects Perform AC/DC wiring across combiners, inverters, disconnects, and service equipment Install conduit and cable tray systems (EMT, rigid, PVC, ladder trays) Bend conduit, run cable trays, and support underground installations Assist with equipment pad layout, placement, and field measurements Interpret electrical drawings and execute accurate field installations Identify and communicate field conflicts to site leadership Follow strict safety standards including lock-out/tag-out and arc-flash protocols Coordinate with construction managers and project teams to maintain schedules Lead-level roles: manage daily workflow, mentor team members, and support quality control Ready to take your electrical career to the next level in commercial solar? to join the client's growing team and work on impactful, large-scale projects.
Pay:
$35.00 - $60.00 per hour
