Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman/Electrician to lead electrical construction projects within the commercial and infrastructure sectors. This role combines hands-on electrical expertise with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate teams, interpret technical drawings, and manage project schedules while adhering to all safety regulations and construction standards. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery. Duties Supervise and manage electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide installation and troubleshooting activities Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely project milestones Review construction drawings and technical documents for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters to verify electrical systems meet safety and performance standards Manage procurement of materials and equipment, including heavyBid or other construction management software for budgeting and resource allocation Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, conducting safety meetings and ensuring all team members follow proper procedures Collaborate with project managers on contract scope, change orders, and project documentation using ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog or other construction management tools Oversee site safety protocols related to electrical work, including managing crew safety training and ensuring adherence to construction regulations Lead team meetings to coordinate daily activities, resolve issues promptly, and maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders Experience Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in commercial or heavy civil construction projects with a focus on electrical systems Extensive hands-on electrical installation experience including blueprint reading, technical troubleshooting, and system testing Strong background in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid or similar tools Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and industry best practices for electrical work on large-scale projects Experience supervising multiple crews on complex projects involving pipeline or infrastructure work is highly desirable Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and managing construction schedule coordination for timely project completion Excellent communication skills for managing teams, coordinating with clients or contractors, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle Join us if you're ready to lead impactful projects with energy and expertise!
