Industrial Electrician Job Overview:
We are currently looking to hire a full-time Industrial Electrician. This position involves performing electrical installations—such as well pad hook-ups—and requires proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry, and must adhere to all relevant safety standards.
Industrial Electrician Key Responsibilities:
Assist with well pad hook-ups and AC/DC power installations. Bend EMT and rigid conduit. Read and execute electrical prints and schematics for the installation of electrical systems and equipment. Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety codes.
Industrial Electrician Qualifications:
5+ years of verifiable industrial electrical experience. Some oil & gas experience preferred. Familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints. Must possess the necessary tools for the job. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Must have EQT Training and all PPE including fire retardant clothing.
Industrial Electrician Compensation and Benefits:
$30 - $40 per hour based on experience for local commuters. Steady work for the next year. Medical and dental benefits. Paid holidays and vacations. This position is ideal for experienced industrial electricians, especially those with oil & gas experience, looking for steady work with competitive pay and benefits. Local commuters are preferred, but travelers are also welcome with per diem options.
