Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Lead Service Electrician who understands that troubleshooting is both a science and an art. Job description : This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys diagnosing difficult electrical issues, working directly with customers, leading field personnel, and serving as a trusted representative of the company. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a professional appearance suitable for customer-facing environments. Unlike traditional construction electricians who primarily install new systems, this position focuses heavily on troubleshooting, service work, emergency response, maintenance, renovations, and design-build projects within occupied facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in commercial and industrial facilities. Perform service calls independently and efficiently.

Troubleshooting:

Open neutrals, Ground faults, Power quality issues, Underground electrical failures, Parking lot lighting systems, Branch circuit failures, Emergency power systems, Control wiring and equipment issues, Perform repairs while minimizing downtime for customers. Lead small crews and direct apprentices and junior electricians. Communicate professionally with customers, facility managers, and company leadership. Provide detailed service reports and documentation. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with NEC, OSHA, and company standards. Participate in emergency service response and rotating on-call schedules. Assist with estimating repair solutions and identifying future customer needs. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a professional manner.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7+ years of commercial and industrial electrical experience. Strong troubleshooting background with proven field experience. Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Experience working independently with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional appearance and customer-service mindset. Clean driving record.

Ability to pass:

Drug screening & DOT physicalFBI background check Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC Card for access to secured facilities and the Port of Philadelphia. Ability to work safely in active commercial and industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master Electrician or Journeyman License. OSHA 30 Certification.

Preferred Experience:

Retail facilities, Restaurant chains, Distribution centers, Industrial facilities, Design-build projects, Low-voltage systems, Emergency power systems
