O & O Electric LLC Electrical Technician Job Summary We are currently seeking a highly-skilled, reliable, self-motivated Electrical Technician. In this role, you will respond to service calls, perform routine maintenance, and complete new installations, in both solo and crew situations. As we are a small company, the job description can vary greatly, and sometimes include "non electrical" duties to keep the business and its equipment operating. To succeed in this position, you will be an independent, competent, and thorough professional who takes great pride in their work and is committed to safety and efficiency, as well as a perfect finished product. You must be willing to listen and learn new information, and also retain it. Electrical Technician Duties and Responsibilities Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently repair electrical systems Work rapidly without compromising quality in order to minimize down time Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted Conduct yourself in a constant professional manner when around customers, or at their jobsites. Conduct assessments of existing systems and repair Commit to compliance with all safety standard and regulations at all times Troubleshoot problems effectively and quickly, performing quality, lasting repairs Install new equipment and wiring expand infrastructure as needed Log all services and report progress Always seek the solution that is most cost effective without compromising quality Assess systems and suggest modifications to prevent future issues Maintain all equipment in excellent working order Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage shop and vehicles, as well as customer's job-sites. Electrical Technician Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in maintenance electricity or construction technology preferred Experience working as an electrical technician required Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings Experience installing electrical panels Experience in commercial, industrial, and residential settings is a plus Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment Able to utilize hand tools and power tools correctly and with experience Solid working knowledge of code requirements Ability and willingness to follow all legal and company safety regulations Outstanding problem solving and critical thinking skills Physical ability to complete this type of work, often in demanding environments Ability to be Honest, a team player, and take pride in your work Able to work independently with little or no supervision. Clean driving record, ability to safely drive larger vehicles such as vans and bucket trucks. Ability to work in a bucket truck at 40'+, and from high extension ladders, rooftops, etc. without issue. Ability to be on time. No-shows without prior permission will not be tolerated. Past experience with online auctions sites, such as posting sale listings to EBAY a plus. Vehicle maintenance experience a plus.

Electrical Technician Compensation Details:

Job is based on 30 hrs minimum per week, peak seasons of the year will bring more hours. Pay based on experience Bonus allowance for healthcare offered after 90 day probationary period. Matching investment plan offered after 90 day probationary period.
