Working with limited supervision, classification consists of, but is not limited to, installation, removal, relocation and modification of circuits, feeders, rough wiring up to applicable fire alarm systems/devices (excluding programming, software) (allows for troubleshooting under direct supervision of Company Fire Alarm Engineer), and applicable security systems, electrical equipment and associated material while adhering to the current NFPA 70 and current Massachusetts Amendments regarding work performed.

  • Marlborough, MA. This position is an onsite role.
  • What you will do: Safely works to plan, layout and perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of the RTX electrical infrastructure, and support of machine tool maintenance requirements.
Creates stock list in conjunction with or reviewed with the group leader. Notifies supervision when major and extensive repairs or modifications are necessary. Performs ESD work. Maintains a clean work area. Performs general maintenance and daily housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment. Maintains records, moves materials/equipment and follows safety rules in performance of duties. Performs any electrical related work as assigned and other similar duties as required or directed. Machines, Tools, and Equipment used, includes but not limited to: Digital voltmeters/multi-meters, amp-meters, hand tools, power/battery operated tools; manual, electric and hydraulic operated conduit benders; wire pulling equipment; aerial/scissor lifts, step ladders, and extension ladders.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
Clearance Information:
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
