Job Description

Digman Construction is expanding our Grain Dryer Service team and looking for a hands-on technician who takes pride in solving problems and getting equipment back up and running. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, working outdoors, and being part of a team that keeps operations moving when it matters most. What You'll Do Set up, start up, and test grain dryers and related equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in the field Service grain dryers, fans, and grain handling systems Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and schematics Troubleshoot motors, sensors, and control systems Perform seasonal inspections and preventative maintenance Assist with software updates and system adjustments Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Work at heights and in varying weather conditions Communicate clearly with customers and team members Follow all safety procedures and company policies What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge Ability to troubleshoot problems and think independently Willingness to work outdoors and travel as needed Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic Team-oriented with good communication skills Experience (Preferred, Not Required) Service technician, maintenance, or mechanical experience Agricultural or grain handling equipment experience Basic electrical troubleshooting (motors, controls, sensors) Experience using multimeters or diagnostic tools PLC exposure or willingness to learn Requirements Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work Comfortable working at heights and in agricultural environments Schedule Monday to Friday, typical hours 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime and occasional weekends during peak seasons Travel required, including occasional overnight stays Pay & Benefits Paid drive time Health reimbursement Simple IRA with employer match Paid time off and holidays Year-round work in an essential industry Why Work at Digman Construction Family-oriented company with a strong reputation Growing service division with long-term opportunity Variety of work, no two days are the same Opportunity to build valuable mechanical and electrical skills Apply Today Submit your resume or work history along with your desired pay and available start date.
